Weddings: the process

The Standard Package.

Pre-wedding consultation.

We discuss your requirements for the big day, this can be in person or via e-mail or telelphone and will give us a detailed outline of what you want in terms of wedding photographs.

On the Day.

We will typically start the day at the home of the bride and cover the preparations for the day, the photography will be extensive but very unobtrusive. Our aim is that you will hardly notice we are there, you have enough to think about today.
The shoot will typically end after the dancing at the reception and will encompass a reportage style of shooting, a number of group shots and about one hours private posed shots with the bridal couple. (all according to your wishes, this is a typical day)

Proofing.

We will usually provide a CD disk with low resolution files in a variety of colour, black and white and toned photographs for you to choose from. These files are fine to send through e-mail to get opinions from freinds if you so wish or you may simply wish to share some of your favourites. We aim to provide this disk within ten working days of your wedding as the choosing process can take time. There will often be many photographs to choose from and all will be included on your DVD (see delivery).

Post-production.

The files you choose are then professionally retouched and enhanced if this should be necessary and then printed on to archival photographic paper, these are not ink-jet prints and they are estimated to last for many, many years. We do the retouching in house but the printing is taken care of by professional printers in London.

Delivery.

You will then receive the prints of your choice in a high quality box, an album if this option has been chosen and the files you have chosen on either DVD or CD in high resolution. It is worth pointing out here that the files you receive are quite sufficient for printing to very large sizes and you will retain the copyright to do this as often as you like. Our aim is to deliver the final prints within two to three weeks of us receiving your order.

#Any prints taken with film will be taken using medium format equipment and will be delivered as prints, the actual negatives are 6 by 7 format and are available for sale but will not be included as the digital negatives are. Medium format may be used for certain shots in certain situations but the vast majority of your photographs will be in digital format.
