Wedding and portrait photography prices
Our weddings typically start at the home of the bride where we photograph the preparations for the big day. We then photograph the arrival at the church and the ceremony (this depends to some degree on the church's local rules regarding photography but we try to avoid flash and other forms of intrusion). After the ceremony we then travel to a location chosen in advance by the bridal couple and spend around an hour making posed bridal photographs. The session generally ends some way into the official reception but will of course depend greatly upon your wishes and plans.Albums from a number of suppliers can of course be arranged but from experience it is common today for the couple to order prints without an album and to source the album themselves. We have taken account of this in our packages and deliver the prints instead in an attractive wooden box.
When delivering the proof CD you will find that the images are jpeg's, this is to facilitate speedy loading and usage while choosing which prints you would like. After choosing however the files we work with to produce the prints are RAW files converted to TIFF, this results in much better control over the finished result and much better quality prints.
We never compromise quality and we only use high quality equipment and third party providers such as printing companies. We are photographers for the love of photography and will not deliver a product we would not be happy with ourselves, we find that by keeping our demands upon ourselves high we keep our quality high also.
We like to keep the pricing simple and so we have three main options available and prefer to be able to add to or take away from services and prices according to each individual client. Anything is possible, if you have any special requirements please mail us and ask, we will contact you as soon as possible by any means you prefer.
For assignments in Europe the prices will be in euro according to the exchange rate on the day of confirmation. A simple currency calculator can be found here in our links section.
Civil Ceremonies / shorter coverage
(up to two hours photography)
30 prints 5 by 7 inches in size.
3 prints 10 by 8 inches in size.
All the photographs taken on CD or DVD in low resolution.(suitable for e-mail or viewing on a computer screen.) These also serve as proofs to choose your final prints from, a typical number would be 100 pictures.
We will also prepare a professional DVD slideshow of your day, the DVD is able to be played on a computer or on your TV / DVD player and is a wonderful memory to cherish forever.

Midweek Package (up to 8 hours photography)
50 prints 5 by 7 inches in size.
5 prints 10 by 8 inches in size.

Standard Package-Weekends (Friday to Sunday, up to 8 hours photography)
80-90 prints 5 by 7 inches in size.

A "Guest Album" is a popular option, it entails us taking informal portraits of all your guests during the reception and mounting them in an album for you to keep and cherish alongside your wedding photographs. This optional extra costs £250.00

Extra hours are charged at £100.00 pounds per hour.
Travel within Greater London area is included, travel further afield within England / Europe and overnight stays will be invoiced at cheapest cost by prior arrangement.
Preliminary bookings will be taken and they will become secure upon payment of a deposit of thirty per cent for the weekday and standard packages and 200 pounds for the civil ceremony or for a shorter two hour coverage. The balance of payment will be invoiced to be paid 14 days before the wedding day.
Portrait prices
We do not offer inexpensive high street portraits, the service we offer is a bespoke environmental portrait service where we travel to the home of the sitter and spend the time it takes to capture the essence of the person in question. We use medium format 6 by 7 negative film in colour and black and white and from the results we print one large print according to your wishes on to archival fine art paper and a collection of four smaller prints at 8 by 6 inches.
With adult sitters we like to build an environment around the sitter which builds a feeling of who the person essentially is.
The entire process takes usually between one and two hours and the cost is 250.00 pounds sterling. Travel within the greater London area is included, to other parts of the country travel will be invoiced at cheapest cost by prior arrangement.
We can arrange to print the large image onto a canvas instead of archival paper at the following prices:
